We had a great day today! Alexis already loves the mall. After a hard day of shopping, we had a relaxing family walk, which she slept through completely.

We had a great weekend! The Harris clan flew in from Florida. Alexis finally got to meet Teri, Caleb and Myca and hopefully remembered Scott and Jopa! Marc and I slept both nights as Scott and Teri took the night shifts. Thanks aunt and uncle!! We were busy with swimming, tennis, pinball, eating, and enjoying each other completely! Hopefully we will get to Florida soon to visit again!

Still learning...

We are still learning...We thought that we would be home before Alexis needed to eat. Too long later and while at our first family trip to the grocery store, she woke up and had a melt down. I had a bottle of formula in my diaper bag, so she had her first formula bottle since the hospital. Thinking that we were okay, we all went to sleep. At her 4am feeding, she spit up all over Marc. After he changed her and passed her off to me, she spit up again all over me and the bed. This was our first middle of the night laundry and shower. I guess next time we will be better prepared!

We had our first busy weekend! Summer is officially in full swing, even though it is already August. It was great to have some visitors from Chicago! Chad, Lesley, Natalie, and Todd came over and spent the afternoon. We had a great time and loved seeing Natalie - she is getting so big! Sunday was Emma's baptism. It was a shock at first to see everyone with their babies (5 under 7 months), but quickly became so fun and felt normal. It will be so great to see everyone grow up together. Last night was Alexis' first hockey game. Of course daddy scored!! Today we visited grandma at work, met all of her friends and had lunch. We are all sleeping less - Marc and I learning to function while exhausted and Alexis becoming so much more alert and awake!

Growing...

Lexi is growing so fast! She gained 8 oz in one week and grew an inch. She also had her first shot which might have been harder for Marc and me. We have all been going out and about an we even got to see a movie while she hung out at grandma's house. It seems like she is changing everyday!
