Alexis has earrings!!! I took her on Wednesday to get her ears pierced. She was completely fine, but I was sweating. She was smiling after it was done and lets me clean and spin them everyday. She looks like such a big girl!

I can't believe that Alexis is already 6 months old! She now sits by herself, rolls over and eats real baby food. Carrots are not a fan favorite. We carry on entire conversations - I am not sure what we are saying, but she seems to know and I think it is too funny. Kodiak, Skylar and Sage are her favorite toys. Everything stops when one of them comes into the room. Every morning we sit with Kodiak and feed the cats first thing. Alexis only wants to pet them - I'm glad that they tolerate the hair pulling as well as I do. Just wait until she is crawling, walking away won't work anymore.


Grandpa came to visit and we all had so much fun. We can't wait until next time!
We also learned how to skype. What fun to be able to see our friends and family that don't live here!

Happy and healthy New Year to all! We are looking forward to 2010! We had a great time with our friends on New Years Eve! Alexis had her first sleep over at Emma's - Alexis in a pack and play, Mia in Emma's crib, and Emma in her swing. It was too cute!
