who would have thought?Alexis had her first trip to Chicago - first of many I'm sure. The flights were great. She slept almost the entire time and was happy as can be. We all had a jam packed weekend, trying to get in as much as possible in a day and a half. Saturday we had brunch with Marc's family - 19 people including 7 kids, Marc's 3 cousins, aunts, uncles and grandma. It was great to see everyone and for them to finally meet Alexis. We then picked up Soup and went over to Ed's house for a play date. Who would have thought that Marc, Ed and Soup would be sitting around with Dora in the background and babies on the floor. We spent as much time as possible with the "group" and can not wait for baby Waitzman to add a boys perspective to Natalie, Molly and Alexis. Thanks Chad and Lesley for letting us stay at your apartment! It was great to have a home in Chicago, even just for the weekend. We all had so much fun and can not wait to book another trip - after we all get some sleep!
