Alexis and Phil had such a fun play day! Rachel and Phil came to visit us for the day. The kids had a great time playing and so did Rachel and I. They had so much fun running around together at the park, playing at my house and sharing lunch and dinner together. We joined them for Alexis' first meal at McDonalds. Marc was so proud, although he wished that he was there! She of course liked her chicken nuggets and apples, had some of Phil's fries and loves her happy meal toy. Hopefully we can get together often b/c they really had fun! We miss you guys already!!!

We miss you Kodiak!!

July 1998 - October 2010
We are so sad to have said goodbye to Kodiak :( It really was one of the hardest things that we have done together. With that said, we do celebrate Kodiak's life. He really did have it all. Born in Tucson, AZ, Marc rescued him from the Humaine Society at 3 weeks old. He was the cutest thing on campus. He really did grow up fast, right into sophomore year of college life. After getting trained, he learned to build a tolerance, played with dogs and friends, ran away on occasion, and even found his first love in Daisy Rhodes. After graduation, he went back to Chicago with Marc. I joined them and we all lived in the city. Lucky for Kodiak that Chicago has dog friendly bars. We all went out, had some drinks and played pool while Kodiak had beer in an ashtray on the floor. What a life! After a few years, we all moved to Hoboken. I call this his middle age years. Every opportunity that he had during a walk, he layed down and refused to get up. Parker Siefert came along and him and Kodiak were instantly best buddies! He was an overweight, lazy apartment dog and we loved it! We moved again to the suburbs where he retired. Kodiak loved this house. He ran around the yard, walked the neighborhood, and hung by the pool. It took a little adjusting for him to love Skylar and Sage, but in no time, they bonded. Sage and Kodiak were the best of friends. We are so glad the he was around for the first year of Alexis' life. We hope that she remembers how much she loved her first doggie!
Kodiak lived in 6 homes, 3 states, swam in the Atlantic Ocean and Lake Michigan, drove from Tucson to NJ, had friends, loves and the best family of pets and people. We will forever miss him!!!
