This week was filled with great friends and family. We celebrated my 30th b-day, the jewish New Year, and our friends wedding. Alexis turned 2 months old and met so many more family members including my brother Dave, her great grandparents Ada and Irwin - visiting from Florida, and my grandma Estelle and aunt Joyce. Old friends and new helped me celebrate my b-day with a party at our house. We also started baby and mommy yoga and music class. This week she is smiling so much more, cooing, blowing bubbles, and sleeping the night in her crib. She had her first sleepover at grandma's house while Marc and I had a great time at Alanna and Johnny's wedding. Everyone survived and I only called 1 time to check on her (I did carry her picture in the pocket of my dress).

We can't believe that August is over :( The summer flew by. Alexis is now 9 lbs 10 oz and 22 1/4 inches long. She is getting so big, talking (more like making noise that is not crying) and smiling all the time! We can not get enough of her. She is sleeping a little better, mostly on me, but sleep is sleep. Some of her favorite activities are dancing with dad, going for walks in the baby bjorn, smiling and sleeping in the car.
